Why is their any possible thought of having different actors playing the American version of this great movie. Are they & the writers under some sort of contract that they are not automaticaly slated to do the american version. You have imbedded fantastic personnel with the story. Please do not ruin the images you have created. I am anxiously waiting the next two films.

Hi Roman – we agree with you. This is the Music Box Films website. We are the distributors that bought the rights to the Swedish/Original film with the sole purpose of bringing it to the U.S. – we have nothing to do with the Hollywood version. Hollywood (Sony) bought the rights from the Producers of the Swedish film to remake it. We have absolutely nothing to do with that.
Please take this up with Sony and/or Sweden!

I enjoyed both films very much, I thought they did a great job in casting. I can’t thing of any American actors that could do a better job and make it more real for me.
