Is this the next Lisbeth?

Or so it seems. The rumor mill has it that director David Fincher is looking outside the siliconed, botoxed box for this one. The rumors that it could be Kristen Stewart, Natalie Portman or Miley Cyrus (yes, we did hear that rumor somewhere) have pretty much been laid to rest.

The latest round up of possible leading ladies are:

Ellen Page (Inception), Mia Wasikowska (Alice in Wonderland), Emily Browning (Sucker Punch), Sarah Snook (the upcoming Sleeping Beauty), Rooney Mara (Fincher’s upcoming The Social Network), Katie Jarvis (Fish Tank), Sophie Lowe (Blame), and French actress Lea Seydoux.

But that’s just according to one source. There are as many different rumors as there are websites and actresses.

The ‘good’ news is that we’re bound to find out who will be joining Daniel Craig in The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo soon, because production on the film is scheduled to begin this fall. The first movie is set to release in December, 2011. And the second film in the Millennium Trilogy, The Girl Who Played With Fire, is marked for winter, 2012.
