Peter Andersson was educated at the Academy of Music and Drama in Göteborg 1974-1977 then joined the Royal Dramatic Theatre in Stockholm. His long list of film and TV credits include: Mun mot mun (Mouth to Mouth) and Om jag vänder mig om (Daybreak) directed by Björn Runge, Sprängaren (The Bomber); Gossip, Änglagård (Angel Farm) and Sista dansen (The Last Dance), directed by Colin Nutley and the TV series Bota mig (Cure Me); Graven (The Grave); Aspiranterna (The Candidates) and Hammarkullen.

He has been praised for his stage roles in Lars Norén’s plays Ett sorts Hades (A Kind of Hades); Personkrets 3:1 (Personal Circle 3:1) and Skuggpojkarna (The Boys in the Shadows). He appeared most recently in Vildanden (The Wild Duck) at Stadsteatern.
